1. We agree with the BBC Trust  on putting BBC Licence Holders "at the heart of decision making". Let's do it.

2. The BBC has committed the most serious breaches of the Royal Charter, the Editorial Guidelines and its oft repeated pledges to report world events with integrity. Experience by innumerable complainants has demonstrated that it is futile to seek redress for such breaches from the BBC Trust, the BBC management or the parliamentary committee entrusted to oversee the Corporation. 

3. We support the demands set out by the Allies in TFTC [Together for the Charter]. We charge parliamentarians and all those holding institutional power, with establishing a genuinely independent national inquiry based on the precepts set out in the TFTC  "Declaration" . The objective is a British Broadcasting service that is directed by and accountable to the public through wholly transparent independent means.
